As part of its advocacy initiatives, the Competition Commission is organising an essay contest for secondary and tertiary students with the objectives of raising awareness on competition law enforcement and benefits of market competition. The contest is open to Grade 12 students of secondary schools, and tertiary students enrolled in an undergraduate programmes. The topic for this essay contest is :
For Secondary Students: First Prize : Rs 50,000 | Second Prize: Rs 25,000 | Third Prize: Rs 10,000
For Tertiary Students: First Prize : Rs 60,000 | Second Prize: Rs 30,000 | Third Prize: Rs 15,000
Deadline for registration: 09 March 2026 | Briefing session: 13 March 2026 | Deadline for Submission: 30 April 2026
