The Competition Commission offered a unique opportunity for enterprises who have engaged in Resale Price Maintenance (RPM) to benefit from immunity from fines through an RPM Amnesty programme.
RPM is illegal under the Competition Act 2007 and sanctionable by fines of up to 10% of the turnover of the enterprise for a period of up to 5 years.
The Competition Commission offered enterprises who have engaged in RPM the opportunity to rectify their conduct and in return to benefit from immunity from fines. The deadline for application was 20th October 2017.
